Ekata Rushi PA-C is a Board-Certified Physician Associate. With licenses to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she has honed her expertise in the medical field. Her academic journey led her to the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she earned a Master’s degree in Health Sciences in 2011. As a physician associate, she belongs to two physician associate organizations: the Pennsylvania Society (PA) and the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
Before founding DermAlign Medical Aesthetics, Ekata garnered extensive experience in Bariatric surgery, Neurosurgery at Princeton Brain and spine Surgery and Emergency Medicine at Capital Health, St Francis Medical Center, and various Urgent Care centers across New Jersey. Her tenure in Bariatric surgery, Neurosurgery and Emergency Rooms saw her deeply involved in preoperative, operative, and post-operative care, as well as emergency services, where she provided critical and lifesaving care to patients. Working alongside some of the world’s most renowned Bariatric surgeons & Neurosurgeons, she assisted in urgent and elective surgical cases. This period in her career, while immensely challenging and rewarding, sparked a desire in her for more enduring patient relationships.
Transitioning her focus, Ekata now dedicates her expertise to medical aesthetics. She is committed to continuous education, completing over 160 hours of continuing education by learning from world class celebrity physicians in aesthetics each year. Her dedication to excellence is further exemplified by her extensive in-person training with some of the nation’s leading Aesthetic Physicians. This training equips her to deliver the latest and highest quality of care in procedures such as Botox, fillers, PDO threads, Vampire Procedures, weight loss programs and various innovative aesthetic treatments.
